Penelope AKA "Penny"
Our oldest daughter was diagnosed with cerebral palsy after a few years of evaluation, she had to have surgey and we decided to adopt another ferret for her to help with recovery. The day before her surgery we went to Hide-E-Hole Ferret Rescue Inc. in Pittsburgh to adopt our third ferret. Penelope was brought home on Halloween, she is the only female ferret that we have. Nothing could be better than saying Trick-or-Treat to get a ferret in your sack. Our daughter loved her, she was so excited to get home and play with "Penny", we took pictures of her that night and had them printed and ready for the trip to the hospital. We hung the pictures on the side of her hospital be. She would have a smile on her face every time she looked at them. She was very excited to get home and play with Penny, we believe this did help with her recovery.
Penny is very playfull and loves toys that squeek. As soon as she hears a toy squeek she runs up to chase the toy. She then runs off to hide it behind the couch. Penny seems to have a special attraction with my husband. She always runs after him to play.
Penny makes herself very comfortable sleeping under Rocky and Whitie at bedtime. She knows how to keep warm.
I would like to give a special thank you to Barbara from Hide-E-Whole for allowing Penny at our home in such a quick time frame. I believe she made a big differance in our daughters recovery.
Thank you Barb and we will see you soon.
Now lets meet Big Boy Chico, our newest addition to the family.....
