Recently I started using the metaPost module initially to work with DNN Article, and now also with the DNN core blog module. metaPost allows you to use Windows Live Writer to enter your blog entries offline and then publish the entry to DNN.
The reason I like this module so much is that is allows you to work on your entry offline and not edit the entry using the web. This is accomplished using the Metaweblog API, which provides services for publishing entries to a web blog. The main purpose of this entry is to remind myself how to setup metaPost on Windows Live Writer, which can be obtained here.
The metaPost can be found at Read More »

The whole thing started one morning during the coldest days of February.
Well, maybe not morning, I'm a musician and photographer,
and frequently get up at the crack of noon.
I was checking my email at the kitchen table,
and heard some scratching and scampering in the walls.
My first thought was............squirrels.
(I live in Squirrel Hill, Pittsburgh PA)
Jeez, I HATE squirrel removal.
Then I had a chilling thought.
Went into my son's room, and sure enough,
only one ferret came to greet me.
THERE'S A FERRET IN MY CEILING
OK, what to do next.
Like any good husband, I called my wife........
She works with animals professionally. SHE'LL know what to do.
Well, no real answers there.

From hanging beds, to squeaky and wind up toys, each ferret got their Christmas wish. Chico never minded the ramps, he got to the top with first given chance. At the top of the cage was Chico's first sight, Penny stood upon him with twinkles in her eyes. She snuggled beside him in the white fluffy bed. Now their Christmas wishes came true, They would like to wish a Happy New Year to you!
